Service degradation: ADSL services (Vic, Tas, SA, ACT, NSW) 9 Feb 2011 Print

Virtual Access regrets to advise that since 4PM today, some customers using ADSL services in Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia, ACT and New South Wales have been experiencing limited connectivity.  For affected customers, access to most sites will be slow, or sites will be totally inaccessible.


This problem is caused by a fault in a supplier network.  The fault has been acknowledged by our supplier and remedial steps are underway to restore service as soon as possible.  At this time we have not been provided with an estimate time for service restoration.


Virtual Access regrets any  inconvenience caused.  We thank you for your patience.  We will update this notice when more information is available.


Update: 10:30 PM AEDT - This fault appears to have been resolved.  If you are still experiencing problems, please turn your modem off, wait 30 seconds, turn it on again and wait 2 minutes.  Check your access, and if problems persist, please call us on 1300 132351.
