Our customers say...

" ... hassle free. In the ten years Virtual has provided a service to me, not once have I had cause to complain, Why go elsewhere? "

Coming up in 2010! Print

If you're like me, you are finding it hard to accept that we're almost a month into 2010. I want to take this opportunity to wish you a belated Happy New Year, and to thank you for continuing to choose Virtual Access as your ISP!

This year will be one of change and improvement at Virtual Access. It is my sincere hope that you find the changes that we have been working on and are continuing to develop to be of benefit to you.

In the paragraphs that follow I will provide a brief description of some of the changes being worked on currently. As changes are being made to the way we provide our services we will do our best to keep you informed about how they may affect you. At this early stage, please do not be concerned about what actions you may need to take. We are working hard to ensure that services are improved or enhanced, and wherever possible (and that will be in most cases!) we plan to make the change in a manner that requires no effort on your part. There will be some exceptions, but wherever practical we will communicate such details directly to the clients concerned.

In the next couple of months we will be replacing our current customer management software. This will result in a number of improvements to your billing like easy-to-read PDF invoices, immediate access to services such as the creation of new email addresses, and more timely updating of service usage information. It will also mean that we must make some minor adjustments to when you receive your monthly bills. As we confirm the finer details, we will keep you informed of course.

In addition, we will be making changes to our email services. Of particular interest to many customers will be an enhanced webmail interface. Our spam filtering will also be easier to use. We know that email services are vitally important to many customers. To complete our email changes will probably require us to interrupt email services for a few hours, but we will provide warning of when this will be and the work will be scheduled to occur at a period of minimum possible disruption (in other words, when most people are asleep!)

These and other changes that are taking place behind the scenes will help Virtual Access to continue to provide quality Internet services into the future. We also expect to provide additional services which will help us to remain your Internet provider for many years to come. We welcome your feedback on our service and your suggestions for ways that we can improve, or new services that you would like to see made available.
