2005-08-17 Direct Debit payments now available! Print
Virtual Access is pleased to advise that a new account payment option is now available. Direct Debit is a convenient way to pay your account automatically from most cheque or savings accounts. Direct Debit is available now for all Virtual Access account types except Block Time accounts.

To authorise a direct debit payment, you need to obtain the Direct Debit Request form from our web site. Just go to http://www.virtual.net.au then choose "Application Forms" from the menu. Select the form from the list, print, and return to us by fax or mail. It's that easy!

You may be aware that the monthly payment option on some of our dial-up and ADSL plans requires you to authorise automatic payments by credit card. The great news is that these plans are now also available for direct debit customers. If you want to change service plans, grab a plan change form while you're downloading your Direct Debit authority.

Your questions answered!

Q: I don't want to direct debit. I want to keep paying by credit card (or cheque or BPAY or ...). What do I do?
A: Nothing. Unless you send a form, nothing about your account changes.

Q: Can I authorise direct debit by phone?
A: No. To process direct debit payments, we require your signed authority.

Q: I can't print the form out. What can I do?
A: Email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and request a DDR form to be mailed to you.

Q: I have a block time account. Why can't I use direct debit?
A: We are only processing direct debit payments on one day each month at present. Because block time accounts fall due on unpredictable dates, they are incompatible with our current direct debit processing method. This may change in future.

Q: If I set up direct debit, how will I know what is going to be charged and when?
A: You will receive invoices as normal around the 10th of the month. Direct debit payment are processed at the end of the month.
